Britta got me again.
8 Things I am passionate about
Our family
Our friends
Food, especially baking
Starting to get really into politics
Global climate change
Buying our first home
Board games and card games
Our TiVo
8 words or phrases I often say
"Neato Frito"
"Schmidt's Pastry Taylorsville, how can I help you?"
"Let's make like a tree, and get outta here"
"Love you, bye" -when getting off the phone with Enoch, and sometimes random other people out of habit
"We're jiggling your brain!" - to Asher cuz he likes to bounce
"You're a weirdo" - to Enoch...it's pretty obvious why
"Schweet" - said in nerdspeak, like I have a retainer in my mouth
"Queso, mmmm"
8 things I want to do before I die
Go to Manhattan, NY
Have a hot swimsuit bod
I've always wanted to see King Arthur's grave in England, and while I'm there I may as well spend some time in all of Western Europe
Learn another language, like Portuguese
Go skiing or snowboarding
Throw a big formal party like a masquerade
Learn to live as "green" as I possibly can, hybrid car, recycling, eating organic, whatever
Go on a cruise
8 things I pray for
Our family's health and safety
Also our friend's health and safety
That world leaders will make wise choices concerning the people
To be grateful for our countless blessings
That those in need will be comforted
That we can get the rest we need and have energy the next day
That we can be good examples to others
That Enoch will make loads of money with the new company- just kidding...unless that's okay
8 things I have learned
You can never judge a person based on a first impression
Just because someone isn't religious doesn't mean they're not a good person and shouldn't be treated with the same respect and friendship as those who are (that's more something I wish others would learn)
Not as many electronic devices will damage a memory card as you might think
It's okay not to try to fill every minute of my day with something "important", it's just fine to schedule in relaxing, frivolous thing
That no matter how careful you are with your email address, you will still get spam for Viagra and online master's degrees
It's okay to make mistakes, just call them "life lessons"
How to check the air pressure in my tires and how to fill them
That a rifle won't do us any good during the "zom-pocolypse", no we'll need a shotgun for that
Once again I don't have anyone to tag who hasn't already done this... Until next time!
