Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Isn't it great that every year thousands of families gather together for a great purpose? Not to simply enjoy each other's company, or to share a spirit of general gratitude, but much much more... to sit crammed around the dining room table (if you're an adult) or at a card table with newspaper underneath it in the next room (if you're a kid), and stuff their faces with more food than they have since this time last year! This year Enoch and I went to my grandma and grandpa's house to eat more than we should have (but it was oh so worth it!!!) Here's proof, look at my grandpa's turkey!!! Isn't it beautiful?!

More pictures? Okay.

Kyle went up to play football with Chris's family, and came back like this! From what I hear, though, Kyle did a good amount of damage as well.

(That foot's about twice the size it normally is, you had to see it in person!)

Also, pictures of the baby!!

...with Aunt Jodi

...with Grandpa

...with Dad

...and with Mom

And we couldn't forget the boys! Here's Kendal

and Brennan (they're cute, huh?)

Unfortunately, we didn't get pictures of anyone else... we were too busy eating the best food ever. Happy Holidays!

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner

My dad sent me this picture of my cute niece Frankie and I just had to share; isn't she adorable?! Frankie Baby (yes, that's her real name) joined our family on June 12 this year, after putting her poor mom through 36 hours of labor! She's my sister Jenny's first baby and the first grandchild on our side of the family. Jenny, her husband Chris, and Frankie all live about an hour and a half away, so we don't get to see them much, but these freakin' cute pictures help make up for it.

I know I used Steven Wright last time, but this is so appropriate I have to quote him again:
"I'm recording all the sounds my friend's baby makes so I can ask him later what he meant."
"I was having the weirdest dream: I was just born, but I was eight months premature. The doctors were freakin' out."
"I found my journal from when I was just a baby: 'Day One- still tired from the move.' 'Day Two- everyone talks to me like I'm an idiot."

(Disclaimer- I've read these quotes in the past and am writing them as well as I can remember, they may not be word-for-word accurate so please don't sue me Steven)

Welcome All

Hello and welcome to our first joint blog. A little background on us: We met about five years ago in college in the video production department. I was producing a show, another student flaked out and didn't show up for the shoot, so we called Enoch in as an alternate and he was so great, we hired him on for the rest of the project. Enoch would tell you the first time we met was when our teacher asked me to explain how to direct a live broadcast to him, but since I'm writing this post, I won't divulge the embarrassing story. Last June we were married in a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and are currently working and enjoying being neighbors with our best friends.

Here's a little something to tide you over 'till our next post:
